Terms of Service

Last updated 6 August 2026

Using the bot

Solace Bot is provided free of charge and by invitation. Adding it to a Discord server, or signing into the dashboard, means accepting these terms. You must also follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; nothing here overrides them.

Invite codes and server slots

  • A code adds server slots to your account. Slots are what let you add the bot somewhere. Codes stack.
  • Removing the bot from a server returns that slot, so you can use it elsewhere.
  • Codes are not transferable and are not for sale. Selling or trading one is grounds for losing access.
  • A revoked code evicts the servers it paid for, even if you have spare slots from another code.

What will get access removed

Access may be withdrawn, from an account or a server, without notice, for any of the following:

  • Using the bot to break Discord's rules or the law.
  • Deliberately overloading it: automated command spam, abusing the music player to consume capacity, or scripting against the dashboard.
  • Attempting to reach another server's data, or probing for a way to.
  • Sharing, selling or farming invite codes.
  • Using it to harass people.

Individual features can also be switched off for one server or one account rather than removing access entirely. Where that happens, the bot says so and gives a reason.

Availability

This runs on a single server and is maintained by one person. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and features may change or be removed. Capacity limits apply where the hardware requires them; the clearest example is that only a limited number of servers can have the bot in a voice channel at the same time, first come first served.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything submitted through the bot. Storing and displaying it back to the relevant server is the only thing done with it. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept and for how long.

Liability

The bot is provided "as is". It is not liable for lost data, moderation actions taken through it, downtime, or anything that follows from those. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Changes and ending

These terms may change; material changes will be announced in the support server. You can stop at any time by removing the bot. Access may be ended at any time for the reasons above.
